Regal TPS

I have a 1993 Buick Regal Custom with the 3800 engine. I have been having problems with the engine stumbling especially under load like going up steep hills.
This happens intermittantly. More frequently as of late. I recently got a 21 Code, which I believe relates to the TPS. I want to change the TPS but can not figure out how to get at the screws holding it in place. The position of the TPS is such that you can not get at the screws. what must I remove to get at these screws. I have had the TPS changed in the past by mechanics and screws are holding in place, not bolts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
