Fujimi McLaren Short Tail Gulf...red, not orange decals...

I'm done with Fujimi.

Bad enough that the McLaren F1 has incorrect bodysides that are too high off the ground, but the Gulf versions I just got have Union Jacks on the decal sheet...that same shade of red used is the exact shade of red Fujimi used for the stripes and the Gulf logos.

Yeah, I guess I can spend nearly as much as the kit for some aftermarket decals. Or not.

Never again. I hope Aoshima is listening. I paid the price going for the first kit, and am burned.

Fujimi decals are inevitably a let down.

I've got more than one of their kits where what should be white is actually a shade of cream.

Yes, and in the MP4/6 kit all the decals that should be flouro are more like plain/Italian red. Not great.

I can wing it, I can either print new Gulf decals or just use them from the longtail kit that has the proper shade of orange, and paint the orange stripes.

Shouldn't have to...but it's Fujimi. Helping Aoshima's marketing department every day :lol:

Look at those decals closely. That's not orange, it's red. Same color as the Union Jack. The orange in the longtail Fujimi Gulf car is correct :banghead:
