I can wait a little longer to buy a car, but there are 3 that i have a total of 5000-6000 that i can put whatever i dont use into the engine or whatever
theres an:
85 RX-7 for 1400$
91 Prelude for 3100$
87 Integra-3100$
Dunno if those deals suck-might be able to bargain them down some-
so tell me if it good to buy--I looking for a fast car that has good 1/4 mile time.

I'm no expert... but paying $3100 for a '87 Integra seems like a really shitty deal to me.

Actually I havn't really considered the integra much yet
I'm deciding between the prelude, and rx-7-and wondering which is faster

God, I'm gonna sound so biased, but it's a fact...
I bought my classic SE-R for less than 2,000 (U.S.) dollars, and can SMOKE any of the aformentioned cars stock-for-stock. A Bluebird SR20DET will cost you between 900 to 1,400 U.S. dollars. That motor can hold up 500HP with it's stock, forged internals.

Well, i guess it depends on if the the Prelude is an Si.... or the Rx-7 is turbocharged.
I'm going to assume they're both equally fast... but my $1 bet goes to the Rx-7.

sorry to say but your choices suck. get a 240 for $1500, then you can swap a SR in (i'm only sayin this, is becuase if you can get a 240 for $1500 that means it has atleast 150,000 miles on it so it would be cheaper to swap the whole motor out instead of rebuilding then turbo) and you can have a car that run's low 14's to high 13's for around 6 grand

Seriously...If you HAVE to get one of those cars on that list i'd go for the RX-7...but 1400 is a little steep..I got mine for 80 bucks and mines a 91 Turbo II..Of course it wasn't running...but the interior and exterior were in mint condition....And as of latley wankel engines....have been fairly cheap..

get a TII RX-7 if you decide on an RX-7. N/A's are just... slow.:frown:

He doesn't need to get a TII rex........the Turbo engines are very very cheap man...And installing them isn't very difficult...Although the vacum lines could present a problem to a novice..

actually if u drop the little 1.3L rotaries in there from the RX-7's...they've got a LOT of potential...anything can be fast...jus takes money.

Honestly..I would sudgest a COLT....Very very underrated car....Modify it's internals a bit, put a better turbocharger on it..And you've got yourself a very very cheap..very very affective grocery getter..But..if you got the $ to spend..go honda..Honda = the top of the line of the cheap imports to modify
