I'm super psyched about this new found club. PRIMERACING20! The logo is great, I'm just not sure the red, white and blue mix will go with my black car, that's all. But, nevertheless, I support whatever the majority wants to do. So, what's next?...

Yep, that's the S#IT rght there. Thanks for posting that for me so everyone can see it. I think it's perfect, especially my car being super black and all. People can change the colors if they feel, too match their car. The idea is that the PRIME and 20 is one color, the RACING is the lightest color you want to fade FROM. The RA and G are the blended colors from the two previous. I think as long as we keep this constant, it would look bad ass. Who's all in? I'm definitely in. We need votes. Also, it's cheaper to get window decals in quantity. What do you say everyone, are we all in? Let's start this damn thing!

I like nis.k.a's design too. It would match my black better. I know that we're going to have to vote on a final design, and I know that we're not all going to want to same colors, as our cars are different colors. But, if we have to buy a high quantity of window stickers, will be still be able to choose different colors, or will we be forced to go with the same colors? I'm certainly in no matter what. I started the thead in hopes of finding a club, and now an entirely new club is forming...very exciting!

I asked TRBOBRK to post another one with lower case lettering. I personally don't think it looks as good as the first one.

Honestly guys, I like the other PRIMERACING20 that is on the webpage, but I don't want to use the style from the P11 on my P10. I wouldn't a P11 owner to use P10 styling as well.

I messed with all the fonts that I have in all different kind of combinations, the Impact (Werstern) Italic was by far the best. Once/If TRBOBRK posts the other one, I want to know what you think. I like the all caps myself.

Also, I'll check into the quantity discount with the different colors. Again, it would be best if we all shared the same kind of fade, just a different color if you wanted. I explained how the fade goes in a previous post.

Did anyone like the all caps design that was done on page 4? The latest design is cool, but three color changes may be too confusing to read. Can we keep it to two colors for the font? I cut a design in all caps, with "prime" and "20" colored white, and "racing" colored a gunmetal gray. Then, I added a red glow to the entire thing. It looked pretty good. But it's at work, and I'm not. Anyway, at least we're really getting somewhere. PRIMERACING20!

Thanks again TRBOBRK. The reason I had three colors was to show the blending of three words. If you look at it, the first impression most people will notice is PRIME RACING 20. They will see PRIME in black RACING in two-tone gray and 20 in black. Even at a quick glance, they'll remember that there's three colors. The fade will imply to most all people that there's more to the name PRIMERACING20. Let's face it, not a lot of people know of the Nissan Primera or even the Infiniti G20. To the people who do know of the cars will definitely like it. My whole old crew loves it, I even got the old lady to give me a knod. I'd love to see what you came up though Rob.

BTW, I spoke with a shop that I've gone to a couple of times (decals). They said with an order of 10-15 decals 5' long and 6" wide with the 3 colors, black to light gray fade would be approx. $20-$30 each. On vinyl of course. The guy I usually talk to wasn't there, so I'll try later. That price qoute was for the black to gray only. He said that any other colors would be slightly more because of the fade. No matter what, I say stick with a color change, preferably a fade.

Let's see those ideas.:D

5 feet Long! Where you planing to put this sticker? On the windsheild?

20-30 bucks is too much I wouldn't want one. When I do go for windsheild visor decal I would want it to look like the drawing of what I want my car to look like. It is up on our webpage I threw together. Not much more I can do without any content.

Well.....yeah. I thought the whole idea was to put it on the windshield? If you guys don't want to put it on the windshield, where would we display it? Also, I need the dimensions so that I can get a quote. Actually, $20-30 is pretty cheap, to buy one custom is approx. $70-80 (5'long 6"wide). If you guys want smaller, thats cool.

Again, I kinda don't want to put P11 styling sticker on my P10. It doesn't look right. Some guy over here did a Primera conversion on a P10 with P11 badges, it looked pretty...........unique :huh:

We can get bigger and smalller stickers if you guys want too. We just need to agree on what design we want to print up. Not everyone is going to agree unanimously, we have to assume majority rules. Since there's only 2 designs out there, let's vote, I'm in either way. I do have to let you know that the P11 design will cost a little more because it's not considered "basic".:flash:

If I made a p10 style would you put it on your car? What about G20Rob3 then. Would he want to put a p10 on his p11. I don't think so. I'll be gone for the rest of the week. I'll check up you guys later.

NO NO NO NO... TRBOBRK You've got it all wrong. If you check page 5, I said I would prefer not to put P11 styling on P10's NOR do I want P10 styling on a P11. This is one of the main reason I made the design in Impact (western) Italic, it makes the design neutral to hopefully suit all models taste. Please don't think I'm trying to gang up on you or something, I was just saying that we all aren't going to agree, but I'm sure you can see my point about a neutral design between a P10 body and P11.

Before we vote, I want to see Rob's design.

I don't have copperplate font on this computer. It doesn't look bad. I like the Impact and Copperplate. So which one? Let's start this up so we can all meet for the inagural dinner or something. Oh yeah.

Impact is definitely the best. Can you post it in all caps though just to humor me (I want to see what it looks like, if you don't mind). As for where to put the decals on our cars...I wasn't going to put a winshield banner on my car, simply because I wanted to keep its upscale look. Too many stickers on cars just ruins it for me personally. But, if it looks good, I may change my mind. I was going to put the decal on my side rear windows--the little windows that don't roll down (both sides)....But, we'll see...

I sent TRBOBRK a mix of red/gray. It's all caps. Let's see if everyone likes it. I'm down with small stickers, that's cool. Although, with this design, I wouldn't mind having a bigger one. Maybe it's just me? Hope you guys like it.

I agree with nis.k.a....I prefer the smaller stickers for looks...but, depending on the new design, it might not look so bad across the winshield. It all depends on the final product's apperance...

I'm not sure, but I think that the stickers are going to be small. Probably 7" at the most. I don't think that red would look bad on a white car considering the size of the sticker. I think everyone agrees that the red is a somewhat of an intensity color, a bold statement if you will. Then again, we all have to decide, so it's really up to everyone else. I like either color scheme. We should try to get this step out of the way and get down to business.:D

Dont want to be diffucult, but I like 7 with out the black background.

You can't see white letters on white background. So I made it black for the picture. For the car it won't have any background right?

I know that we're still voting on decal designs and stuff, but when were we planning on getting together? Before or after the holidays? Also, I'd be interested in knowing a bit about everyone's cars and mods and stuff. Is this something we're planning for the first meeting, or will be sharing any info prior? Also, we're planning a club, and we really don't know each other's names and ages and stuff. Anyway, it will be interesting to see what happens next...

I'll print up a copy and take it to the shop down the street to see how much it will cost to make some. I'm assuming; about the size to fit the rear vanity window by an inch high. I'll do that this weekend. As far as meeting goes, I'd like to meet when we hand out stickers, or after everyone has gotten theirs already (snail mail). What's a good location to meet? Since we have Spanaway, Lynnwood and Kent being the farthest; maybe downtown Seattle or Bellevue?

BTW, I tried to look for a list of colors the board uses but I couldn't find it anywhere. So the #4d4d4d is actually a hexidecimal code of the RGB equivalent of 77,77,77. Hexidecimal code is used in html and also seams to work for the vB.

I'm 18, graduated June 2001 at Woodinville High and am now a freshman at Seattle Pacific University on the north side of Queen Anne. I had a Volvo 745 Turbo that I loved but I needed a smaller car. So I got a 1993.5 down at Hindshaws down in Fife early September. It has no leather or sunroof. It looked really clean and everything is stock. I changed the bulbs in the heater control so it is red, ala VW style. I changed the radio for a cheap Blaupunkt CD. But that is it so far, haven't had it long since I got hit so it was in the shop for a month.

I posted my engine pic in the Cosmetic forum if you guys are interested. It's where it says "P10 & P11 engine pics here" or something like that. We're almost there. I don't know if I can make this Sat., I have a family thing going on right around that time. We'll have to schedule something way in advance so that no one can "bitch out".:D

Put the B[] (b inside brackets of course) in front of everything; at the end of the "20[/color]", put a /B[]. The same goes for the italic.

I'm gonna try to get prices sometime this week. Others should also look in their areas to see how the prices match up.

Hey nis.k.a, how do you like your INTRAX suspension? I've heard good and I've heard bad things about it (a lot of bad in this forum). I personally have shopped around, and decided on them because of the drop and the price. Eibach's only dropped my ride like an inch and TEINS are not in my car allowance right now (my wife would kill me for dropping $1k on suspension). I will be upgrading to some Koni shocks, a Stillen STB and the new Stillen rear sway, so the ride should get a little stiffer.

Hey I am goin out right now and I am going to look at prices.....whats a reasonable price? Like 20 is that good? and How many do we need? That makes a big difference in price....I was thinkin of getting 10:alien: :bloated: :licker: :smoka: Also this place I go through gives clubs a 10%discount.....and they are hella cheap already....what do you think....should we be on their car club list?

I'd say without good shocks, the Intrax are not a good investment. It really all comes down to what you prefer. With the KYB AGX's set at 3 in front and 6 in the rear, the Intrax are just perfect for me. I like the feeling of riding on rails. They lower the car quite well in th front and somewhat in the rear. I've heard a lot of people chopping their springs in the rear to even out the ride. I didn't do this because the Greddy MX already hangs pretty low to the ground. All in all, I love them. I had the money to buy the GC's but didn't because I'm so anal about the geometry of things. I didn't want to have to run to a shop everytime I wanted to adjust the height to make sure that my corner weight is correct. I really don't hear to many people talk about their corner weight, which is actually very important. With that playing in my mind, and the price of the Intrax's, I couldn't refuse.

Ok went to the shop they said they can do it for like 27 maybe 25 so how many do we need...or can someone get them cheaper? :alien: :bloated: :licker: :smoka:
