2008 Town & Country front end clunking

I had to replace my swaybar links on my T&C due to it not passing state safety inspection. There was also some random noise that occasionally occurred on bumps. The tech said the "book" said to replace the strut and strut mounts but he could not see anything wrong. After replacing the swaybar links, there is now clunking while driving. I thought it was a lack of grease in the links but I greased them and while it got a little better...it still happens. Any suggestions?

Might try the sway bar bushings.

yeah...one bolt on passenger sway bar link wasn't quite tight enough...Yanking on the sway bar as hard as I could with the van on jack stands I got it to move a tiny bit. I tightened it and the clunk is gone... thanks.

what are the torque requirements for link bolts and bushings (if applicable)? I have to replace them again because apparently I bought crappy aftermarket parts. I have Mopar parts this time.

I had the same problem on my 2007 DGC. Had the sway bar links replaced 6 months ago which fixed it for a while until recently. Now the clunk is back. I tried bouncing the left side while feeling the sway bar (not easy) and I felt some movement near the bushing. I agree with the idea of replacing the sway bar bushings and will try replacing mine as soon as I can.

After replacing the sway bar links and bushings(which were a bit of a pain btw) the clunking is gone. Well worth the effort.
