2011 Durango poping noise

I'm working on a '11 Durango that has makes a poping noise now and then. It seems to do it sometimes when you turn sharp, like in a parking lot, and sometimes it will do it when you first take off in gear or when you first put it in gear. Any ideas??? It is a AWD vehicle and I know sharp turns can cause some wheel hopping but this doesn't sound or feel the same.
