GF needs a car, looking at getting something that's stylistically not outdated, will be reliable and cheap with low miles.
Looking at 2006+ Hyundai Sonatas. I understand Hyundai has been coming up in the automotive industry and the Sonata while plain doesn't look too bad (http://hyundaisonatabloomington.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/2006-Hyundai-Sonata-blue-main.jpg). It's Hyundai's 2nd tier sedan (Accent -> Elantra -> Sonata -> Genesis)
Also checking out the Toyota Yaris (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7c/Toyota_Yaris_3_door.jpg). It might be a bit on the "cheap" side but it's better looking inside/out than any of the other cheapo commuter cars. Also has the reliability of a Toyota.
The Ford Focus doesn't seem to bad but the old style is heinous (http://images.thecarconnection.com/lrg/2010-ford-focus-4-door-sedan-s-open-doors_100250781_l.jpg) while 2012+ is still just a bit too expensive (http://images.autospeed.pics/automobile/otomotivkulubu.com/wp-content/uploads/ford-focus-2012.jpg).
Ideally we'd like to get a Camry, Maxima or Accord but in order to get a similar year with similar miles it will cost 50% more.
Any suggestions?
