Celica or Celica?

Cell - ick - ah or Cell - eek - ah?

I've been fighting about this one with one of my best friends for years, and I just had to laugh when I first came to my college (car school), when the whole student body is divided about half way down the middle and always fighting about which is right.

To complicate matters, I've heard different Toyota commericals say it both ways!

I say cell - ick - ah, how about you?

are there any other names like this? what about the Nissan Murano? Mur-ah-no or Mur-ay-no? or the Holden Munaro? there must be more...

Neither. ;)

Seh-rih-cah

'e' as in 'bed.'
'i' like the 'e's in 'beer.'
'a' as in 'apple.'

But in any case, the 'i' should sound like a long 'e.'

A question for the Yanks and Canucks (since we don't have them in our part of the world). The pronunciation of Honda-associated brand Acura.

Ack-ura (as in Pulp Fiction)
A-coo-ra
A-cue-ra (my pronunciation)
