Yes, it is new. I guess he's not keeping his car in the bubble anymore??
Anyway - I'm quite jealous of the McLaren obviously, but I'm even more jealous of the Light Car Company Rocket he has sitting next to it. If I recall correctly, that's the first one they made. For those who don't know, the LCC Rocket is another product of the mind of Gordon Murray and is a two seat tandem open wheeled go-kart for the street. I wonder how Leno was able to get one and drive it on the street - it's certainly not going to pass a DOT crash test and I've never seen it on the Show&Display listings...

Maybe Leno has a thing for Gordon Murray, because Murray developed the F1 and the LCC Rocket.
