Our new fishtank light

Not the most exciting of topics, but I am gonna share anyway :p

Alex has been searching for some high watt power compact lighting for our tank for ages since we have a ton of plants. For the longest time we had 2 fixtures on the tank but the plants still weren't getting enough light. Well we finally came across this:

On the right side of the light itself air is sucked in and blown over the lights, then on the left side the heated air is blown out by the a fan in there. There are 2 light strips each one has its own individual switch.

And now for the bad ass part.....................

There are 4 little LEDs in it that are always on and at night gives the tank a moonlight effect:

There are also some stands that screw onto the ends of the light to raise it off the glass top, but we thought it looked better without them.

all you need now is a wing an a type R badge and your fishtank would be da bomb......:biggrin:
