Replaced the front rotors and pads today... Pretty easy to do. Here's the steps in pictures.

Loosen the lug nuts a touch before you jack the van.

Jack the van up and then put it on a stand.

Finish removing the tire. And then turn your steering to give you more room to work with.

Two bolts hold the caliper on the van. Loosen those off and do not remove them yet.

(Top bolt)

Once loose prep to hang the caliper from string, or wire, or what I used... Zip ties. Don't let it hang from the brake line! Once you have the caliper off remove the rotor and pads as well.

Now you have to compress the calipers. I don't own a "C-clamp" or a caliper tool. Instead I remounted the caliper and used a small pry bar to compress the calipers all the way open.

Where I pried.

Once that's done grab the new pads and insert them. Also install the rotor. I used a lug nut to hold the rotor in place.

Reinstall the caliper

Then reinstall the tire.

Now test drive in your driveway to make sure the brakes are functioning before you head out on the road
