79 Monte Carlo

hey guys where can i find a 79 monte carlo on the internet.And yes i posted in the Car Modeling Classifieds Thread .i really need one.and if this thread bothers anyone,tell me then i will erase it.ok.:biggrin:

79 Monte Carlo?
Wasnt that the design that the Buick GN's had 9not exact, but on same platfrom) I know AMT makes the 70 Monte Carlo, not sure about 79... maybe rework Revell's Buick GN kit

Those MPC '79 Monte Carlo kits are kinda hard to come by. How much of a hurry are you in? Trumpeter has scheduled a new tool '78 Monte - for some time in the future.

Otherwise, I'd say check:

Good luck! I have no clue where you could get your hands on one that quick? I mean, you're looking at 3 days just for shipping, lol. Then ya got to build it.

That's the AMT/Ertl '70 Monte Carlo - with lots of nice mods.

well most of them are going to be lowrider.

Yeah..... it was a big expereriment for me. I've never cut a car in half before. (very much under rated:icon16: ) But.. anyways... it was a low rider kit, and i still have half the stuff on trees (pass. seat, 4 tires, 4 wheels, rear seats, hydro's, batteries...)

those hoppers suck, only 1 motor for the front & rear, and its low volt. I had one of those, hooked a 9v battery to it, and had it hopping off the ground :biggrin:

Now i have a 2-motor hopper and do nothing with it :bloated:

thats a hopper not a model kit.i want one so i could deatl the engine and stuff.

i have the hopper 64 Impala. Kinda cool....

yeah those impala's are pretty cool wth a 9.6 volt battey:biggrin: even tho i make some myself they and they jump higher.

i usually grab those hoppers for the body only....I know they're:gay:

Looks like a promo car, I doubt it comes with an engine, but you could always pop one in! We're talking 454, 427, 396, 350, etc. here! We'll if you need some Chevy engines (350,454,427 available), you can get them here: http://www.scaledreams.com/MBE.HTM although they are $25 USD a piece.

The car from the movie Training Day was pretty nice...and I don't even like cars on hydros! It may have been slightly newer than '79, not sure when they changed body styles...

Are you sure it has an engine? It looks to me that you can't open the hood. :confused:

I dont know what they are thinking, but promo cars dont have engines in them, at least not these, They are curbside models.
