Is 1/4" fuel vapour line a quick connect

A friend of mine asked me to fix a fuel line leak on his 92 Ultra, I checked it out and looks like will be replacing all three fuel lines from where they turn to steel from the nylon at the fuel filter up to where they angle up into the engine compartment where some oil leak or other in the past has coated them and they are rust free.
I was going to order some line today and can't recall if the 1/4" line is a quick connect like the 5/16" or not where it goes from the vinyl coming out of the tank area to steel for the run up the length of the car. Was going to order the three sizes of steel line today, for to do it on the weekend for him.
Haven't tackled a fuel line repair before other than the old hose and clamps way, so not too sure how it works. The little shop I work at (taxi cab repair bay) has a large Dorman steel fuel line repair kit as well as the other kit for doing vinyl repairs, but I have no experience with using these.
Came up dry, trying to find any vids of those kits in action to get an idea how they work. I did see some compression union fittings in it though and was thinking this would be good way to connect the new line to old??
