I have a 1982 chevy 1 ton dually I am trying to check my rear brakes. I am having trouble removing the drums off the diff. i have removed the axle shafts and nuts that hold the drums on but all I can seem to do is wiggle 1 drum and slide the other. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

you probably need to back the brake shoes off from rear side of the drum, usually takes 2 screwdrivers or a screwdriver and brake spoon. each side will have 2 nuts, make sure you remove them both. also those drums are fairly heavy, be carefull
