Hi everyone, I'm to the forum, and I am only 14 years old, I have read all the stickies about the legalizing a skyline, just recently my brother informed me that I would maybe be able to get a Skyline for my car, one that cost about 16000-25000, I live in the United States. My brothers friend already imported one so I thought why couldn't I my parents already told me they'd pay for my car so I tryed to figure out how much it would cost to import a SKyline. I was talking to a family member of mine, and they told me that the only things that need 2 changed would be, the lights if there not assymetrical, the windshield cannot break, it must crack that way it can be kicked out (like in 2 Fast 2 Furious) and if it passes smog tests, I'm pretty sure that is all, he said that if you pass all those then you are allowed to drive you car in the California. Is this true? or am I being fooled? I didn't think this followed wit the sticky so much so I thought I could post it, I'm sorry if I violated any rules...

As has been posted in MANY places in these forums, your thoughts on conversion are far from complete. JUST CONVERTING A SKYLINE will cost you much of that $16-25k range. Check www.skyline-gtr.com for the prices of converting a car. I'm sure you don't have the ability to do it yourself.
