Here's my trainwreck, I'm thinking of redoing everything in there either all blue, or all black (same as exterior). Suggestions?

What color is the exterior? My suggestion would be to find a way to connect the radar detector and hide the wires. Continue the blue on the dash, but bring the white from the console to the top of the radio section.

black
The center console is a bitch to get out, otherwise
I would have painted it white. I'm tired of the blue/white
"theme" and just want one solid color.

Yeah i would continue the blue to the dash and the white to the radio. That would look good.

Get a carbon fiber dash (I know a lot of $$), and paint everything else black. Get black Sparco or Riccaro seats with red lettering and black piping. Black carpet with diamond plate flooring, and a carbon fiber shift knob. Indiglo gauges, red neons under dash (both driver and passenger side), red underbody neon kit. Do you have a stereo or anything else?

I'm not into the diamond plate floor things too much, or all the neon effects... I do have a blue neon kit but the front one smashed and I never really had the urge to buy a new one and reinstall the whole thing. I am starting to dig black with red detailing, especially with the red top under the hood now.
As for the shift knob, I'm buying a jdm ctr one when I find a good deal online. The true jdm ones cost $200 through inlinefour, but there are some exact replicas out there for $50 or so. $200 seems a bit much and I can live with a replica shifter... I would buy indiglos if I haven't heard bad things about them from everybody who owns them. From those I've talked to, after a few months the lights actually discolor the faces making them green in some spots and blue in others. Again, that's just from people I've talked to.
I do want a carpet kit, that would be pretty sweet ane they're only $100 or so. I think my next big step is a pair of seats (when I can afford them), but I can't seem to find any that I really like. I do have a nice Pioneer deck, Pioneer four-way 6.5"s up front and 6x9's in the back, and a Rockford sub w/a 500 watt amp.
I'll take some new pics when I progress a bit and post them up.

Gotcha on the diamond plate. If you want something to protect the carpet then you can get some black rubber mats with a red Honda symbol, or if you just want the carpet then you can get a red Honda symbol sewn in or embroidered (whatever they call it). If your planning on the black with red trim, then I would switch the underbody neon bulbs to red. I was just gonna see if you had neons around the stereo or not, but you said you don't really dig the interior neons. You could also change out your steering wheel to a red one. Let us know how it goes.

I briefly tried looking for a ctr steering wheel but came up empty. From what I've seen aftermarket wheels don't come with airbags..(?) I've been in a couple bad accidents where the airbag saved my life and I'd probably want one with an airbag. I don't think those will come too cheaply though.
I'm more interested in performance parts than interior, but I'm just looking to clean up my "train wreck" a little bit with black paint. I'll post more pics later when everything's looking a bit smoother.

You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that, but unfortunatly there's no way that I've seen to clean up holes in vinyl and do a great job. I want to put it in the left airvent on the driver's side but I don't know, it does it's job where it is. I don't like gauge cluster tachs because I can barely see them with the steering wheel in the way. If you have any suggestions, by all means let me know.

i got a JDM stock one for an integra type R. its made by momo, and looks really nice, but doesnt have an airbag, of course, my 88 civic hatch doesnt even have ANY airbags, so its works great. they do have ones with airbags though. check ebay

I bought this:
Fine grit sandpaper, lots of it
2 cans of Krylon white primer
3 blue cans of Krylon paint
3 white cans of Krylon paint
2 cans of clearcoat
I sanded them down, every little nook and cranny on each piece, then washed them off with the hose in the grass. After they dried I separated them in groups by color I was going to paint them, and laid them out on newspaper.
I sprayed two thin coats of the primer (paint sticks to primer stronger than to just plastic), waiting like 10 minutes in between each coat. Then put THIN coats of paint (10-20 min in between coats) until it looked adequetly colored (prolly 10 thin coats or so). If you put thick coats on, they tend to chip off over time. Then I put like 3-4 coats of clearcoat on.
I used semi-gloss paint and semi-gloss clearcoat. The paint costs about $5 a can, primer and clearcoat cost a little less. Plan on it taking up a whole day to do, if you want to do it correctly.

All the plastic parts are held on by a few visible screws. I just carefully pryed out the vents with a flathead screwdriver wrapped in a thin towel so it wouldn't scratch the plastic.
I would try to color the dashboard but you need some kind of oil-based dye to stain the vinyl with a rag or something. I may try after I learn how to do it right.

you dont need to use oil dyes and a rag, all you need is SEM spray on dye. its nothing like the crap they sell at walmart or any autoparts store. its only available in upholstery catalogs or at upholstery shops. theres a shop here in new orleans that does cars for famous people, like lenny kravitz, fats domino, and the creator of pizza hut. he uses the stuff all the time for faded vinyl. it wont crack or peel, and he even took a knife to a piece and couldnt cut it off.
all you gotta do is clean the part with laquer thinner (dont do this unless you are certain you are gonna dye, cause it leaves the vinly all white and powdery looking) then when its dry, just spray a little tack coat on it, wait a few minutes and then spray it whatever color you want. he said the only thing you cant do with it is spray white over red cause itll bleed through.

i found a website called seat covers direct. its not THAT great but a col alternative to 500 dollar assrests... on the website it says that they make like covers for the seats which they say "fit perfectly" and u cant tell theyre covers. looks stock painted. they offer custom colors, and two colored sets with all the fancy embroidery and shit. two toned colors is 150 a seat i think or for two... i dunno bout that. whats another way to get custom seats?

i think the blue looks great....i have seen cars that have all blue on the plastic and then two tone white and blue seats. it looks pretty good. as for the seats Autoleather.com has kits that you can get for about $1,000 bucks and you can get two tone leather that will cover the front and rear seats, center console (if you want it), and the door pannals. you may want to check with them. ...oh....and thanks for telling us the steps you took when you painted the interior ...i like when people do that....i never really knew how to get that flat look without the grain of the plastic....

You mean the red carpet and stock interior? Red carpet sells for a pretty penny, and I've never really even liked the color. I like blue and wish my car was the same, but black comes next and since that's all they had for the USDM hatch I'll go with that. A totally black interior sounds pretty wicked to me.
