2009 G6 Retractable Roof

I have a 2009 G6 the DIC has a message that the retractable roof is not secure. this message is there whether it is up or down. Does anyone know where I should start in troubleshooting this problem? Thanks

The only thing that I can think of that would make the code would be the latch(s) over the w/s not giving a closed signal.....
