I have a 1994 F 350 7.5 L v8 it had a cam lob worn off so i replaced the cam, bearings and lifters the truck has less than 30 miles on it and one of the lobs are worn and a lifter has about an 8th inch worn off of it what can cause this problem. The old cam had a lob worn off on cylinder 7 or 8 the new one is worn on cylinder 5 if that makes any sense
PLEASE HELP !!!!!!

Did you use break-in oil? It is expensive but a lot cheaper than replacing cams. The oil has a special additive that allows the cam lobes to harden themselves. Otherwise they immediately wear away on the new performance cams they make.
