What kind of jobs does everyone have in here, and what kind of education did you have to get there?
I am a sandwich artist and a web designer. I had to graduate kindergarten to become both.
I'm looking for a new, higher paying job, and just wanted some ideas. Maybe a possible career choice will be in the making.

I'm an assistant manager of a supermarket. I assist in the general operation of the store and I'm the direct manager of all bookkeeping and accounting in the store. I'm still an undergraduate, going into my sophmore year headed to most likely a degree in finance and becoming a C.F.C. I don't intend to stay with the supermarket business although it is a viable career if you work hard at it. My boss makes about 60k a year, and his boss makes about 80-85k($US)...then you have the VP's who make six figure plus...but I just don't think it's the career for me. Nice to have something to fall back on though, JIC.

I am jobless b/c Allegheny County in PA is filled with a bunch of b@st@rd@ss beeotches. The job market BLOWS and even though I have my HS diploma and I'm a junior (should be a senior, but I'm purposely in no hurry) in college I can't get a job. :( I think everyone right now is left to just ride out the remainder of this shitty ass economy and hope for better in a few years.

Im a software developer for a multinational Life/Assurance/Building Society/ Bastards called Abbey National. Although I wont be one for too much longer as myself and my colleagues are being made redundant. I spent 3 years in college and have been working for 5 years now as a Developer. although I am seriously thinking of jacking it all in. The market at the moment is crap.

I'm a software developer as well, studying it actually.
At the end of this year I might be working for Dutchspace which makes simulators for the Dutch defense (f-16/leopard simulator, virtual reality, etc).
My goal is to become gamedeveloper though that's rather difficult in our country (only 2 major gamedevelopers here).

I own an online business (yes, business license, state sales tax... the works) selling aftermarket shit, and we're opening up a physical shop in either Springfield, Missouri or Jacksonville, FL sometime soon. (website still doesn't have all the parts we got yet...)
On the side, I do freelance computer programming, website design, blablabla... for corprations and companies like Seglin, inc. the largest drug testing company in the U.S. (sorry, FourG63 97GRT )
I work at FairCom (http://www.faircom.com) part time doing database shit for them...
^^ All of the above requires literally 20 hour work days, months of paperwork, shitloads of customer support, and 19.5 hours/day staring at a computer screen. (Yet still managing to sneak in the time to dick around on AF)

Paper relocation managing diector. Needed an AA in mad office skillz and a BS in creative time manangement :thefinger
Seriously I am a lawfirm admin assistant. No degree needed. My first 9 years here I drove around town picking up/delivering and going to various lawfirms, police and fire depts for reports, insurance companies to pick up check, hospitals to pick up/return records and xrays, the list goes on. All I needed was a car, insurance, and a clean driving record.
Last year they changed a few things here at work and now I get to stay inside all day and put about 24,000-29,000 miles LESS a year on my car :D Basically I work under the managing partner and his assistant now. Alot of filing and misc paperwork, but it keeps me busy.
Then in my spare time I do freelance graphic design work. I went back to school last semester to get my AA. Since Alex and I are finally tying the knot in October I am going to take the fall semester off and resume again next spring. I know a few programs pretty good, taught myself at home. But to make it big and get out there you still need at least an AA :(
Holy crap I just wrote a mini novel.

and I didnt think security guards had a high enough IQ to work a computer?
Must be a very differnt scene to here in Auckland, where if you were born in NZ and can count above 10 you fail the job application.
