FINALLY been getting back to the bench. 8)
This was my first thing I started on. I wanted something simple. Doesn't get much more simple than a white car with 20 parts. ;D

I got everything all smoothed out, panel lines deepened, some stuff cutout/cutoff (like wiper, fuel fillers, oil filler cap). I'll add those back in after paint.

I also got the wheels detailed out with Alclad gold and Tamiya acrylic flat black. I think I need a smoke wash or something to tone down the chrome though...

Also started on the interior. Dash is painted texture on top, then black, then weathered "snow" to give it depth. Turned out pretty good.

The interior got more of the same... Tamiya SG Black right out of the can. Then hit it with some "snow" to highlight the edges and give some shadow effects as well.

Got this in the mail a couple days ago... AccuStion and Hobby Design wipers and Scale Productions tow hooks!
http://www.dlphnfn.com/WIPs/IMG_4550.jpg
Now I'm sitting in Tamiya White paint straight from the can followed by a coat of clear just for decals to adhere better to... I shot the front edge with Zero Paint MP4 McLaren red. 8)

Now I'll be decalling the next couple nights. Then I'll finish the harness for the seat and add some exterior details like fuel fillers, oil cap, wiper, hood pins, extinguisher ...
I'm just having fun!

Thanks guys!
@ianc911 - It is the Tamiya weathering kit. Ebay Linky (http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAMIYA-87080-Weathering-Master-B-SET-Snow-Soot-Rust-Colors/141033466998?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222006%26algo%3DSIC.FITP%26ao%3D1% 26asc%3D21395%26meid%3D6547391585957088192%26pid%3 D100011%26prg%3D9409%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D36 0918596038)
Smallish update. Decal session complete! First time in a couple years for me. :)
A couple of those fender decals were hair raising moments, but overall, they went on like Carto decals should.

I also threw in a set of Eduard Sparco seatbelts. They look pretty good even though they're all PE.

Clear tonight and then on to assembly! :)
