CV axle problems ??

I have a 1990 Geo Prizm and The Cv axel was clicking and a day later I think it went bad with a clunk the car would not move at all.I then got a remanufactured Cv axle put it in and drove it for about 5 miles it clicked and clunked again it wouldnt move at all again so I took th axle back and they gave me another remanufacturd cv axle and this time I drove it down the block and back and while backing into my parking place it happend again. what are the chances of the cv axel going bad like this is it the remanufactured axle or is it my transmission??:screwy:

im sure by now car is fixed or scrapped but easiest way to find out is jack the front of car up and put it in drive, if the inboard cv joint is turning and outboard part isn't then the axle is bad again, if inboard part is not turning either the axle has popped back out of the transmision or something inside it is bad. might need to have someone step on the brake to keep the wheel from turning while you inspect it
