Thanks for posting pics the kit looks very good. How's the quality of the plastic used? Where did you order yours from, ebay or a domestic vendor? Now we just need someone to do up a dually transkit for this.

Plastic is I think same as Japanese kits, no issues with it , I ordered mine from China, and I have no doubts that Meng is planning on a dually version, more so with the bed being on its own parts tree is a sure sign that its what they have planned

Out of curiosity, is there any indication that Ford has licensed this kit?

I had a close look at the boxtop online and dont see anything offical.I would not think Ford would let the use of their name and blue oval slide.

Of course not lol. But what he implied was, did Meng ask permission. This is a Chinese company, and they tend to not give a shit about those types of things. Either way, glad there is actually a Ford emblem in the kit.

If you look at the pic posted by the OP, it looks like on the end box it has an "official" label of some kind. I saved the pic and blew it up but too much detail is lost to be sure. But it looks like there is something.

Meng is based in Hong Kong. It is part of China, but it is not quite the same. I can assure you they will get their ass sued by Ford and lose royally if they dare to produce the F-350 without a license.

I have just bought the kit and my impression is they are approaching this like their usual military subjects. Nicely molded with decent detail, the proportion looks right, with the price in the same ballpark. I hope they do well on this kit, I like it a lot, but auto modellers are not the same as military modellers, especially in the US. And this subject matter is decidedly biased toward the American market.
