Well first of all, I couldnt get my old faces off, they wouldnt move, even though I took out all 4 screws, also, the oil and gas part of the cluster was too short it looked like. It was messed up. Help me Melt, I need you!!!

I believe the LX doesn't even have a Tach, the EX/Si do so of course the faces woudn't match up right.

i hear there is a little "ns" or "n"and some other letter in the bottom right hand corner of the guage clusters you need the same on you had for them to fit at leas that's what i heard. someone correct me if i'm wrong.
oh and i'de be interested if the guage cluster came from a 90 or 91 just curious what car do you drive what year is it. you know 90-91 civic cluster is different from 88-89 civic.

Im not switching the model of the gauge cluster, Im simply trying to apply some reverse guages. Here is the link of where I bought them from, and it does actually look like that picture. And Ill look to see if I have a pic of my actual cluster, its wierd, I do have a tach, but for some reason, it just wasnt lining up quite right. Also, the little wiring part for it was going up towards where my blinker lights would be sitting, so it doesnt seem right at all, oh well, here are pics of both.

The reason that your reverse indiglos will not fit is because you bought indiglos for an 88-89 Si/EX. If you put 88-89 indiglos on a 90-91 car, the gas/temp will not fit because the 88-89s are closer together plus there are needle holes which the 90-91s dont have, also 88-89 speedo/tach indiglos WILL fit on a 90-91, BUT the wires will block your turn signal lights on the cluster. Don't trust stupid people on ebay saying that indiglos will fit "88-91" civics because most of the time they are just 88-89 applications.
Just sell your reverse ones and find another set that DONT have the needle holes on the gas/temp part, thats the dead giveaway that its a 90-91 application
