Ok so here it is........I bought a 1990 civic DX hatch......I replaced the battery and altenator.........The rad has a hairline crack in it and we put water in it to get it to my place.........We drove it in at night.......On the way in the check engine light came on as it was getting hot......We would let it sit and cool down and then continue on......When we would turn on the head lights the car would lose all its power......as soon as we turned them off it was fine........anyways got it home and now it won't start again at all..........Turn the key and you get a clicking noise the odd time and other times you get nothing,........Battery is fully charged.......if you get in and push on the brake pedal the high beam and signal lights light up on the dash........(thats if you dont have the key in the ignition)....I need this car to run ASAP.............Thanks you can email me also at [email protected] THanks again!!!!!!

Hmm, that sounds really weird, you could check your grounds maybe? There a little connection under the hood on the right side, just a little connector piece that is bolted to the car. See if that's connected

All I can think of is maybe its the Main Relay...

See if your symptons sound like that.
Also sounds like you might have some blown fuses, that can cause your car to seem "Haunted" with weird electrical glitches.
Also I have a stock radiator that when I took out was in working order, I just replaced it with a performance one. It's yours for $30+shipping.

Thanks for the replys guys I appreciate the info.......and I would take your old rad but it would probably cost a fortune to get it shipped to Canada and with all that I could more then likely get one around here for that but thanks for the offer greatly appreciated.........Peace

actually, i had this EXACT problem when i first got my dx, and all it turned out to be was a bad engine ground (dont ask me how it caused all this weird shit, i dont know, but just go out and buy some higher guage amplifier wire, and bolt it to a spot on the chassis, and then over to a bolt that goes into the engine (has to have metal to metal contact to the engine or head)
