Did you read the FAQ on AF too? There is a link in my sig.

Dot-3 should work fine, as long as it is a brake fluid you are using and not brake cleaner.

does brake fluid not warp the plastic in anyway?

I don't think brake fluid does. I've been using it for about 4 months now, and its one of the best paint strippers I've ever used. I've left cars in for like a month and they don't warp or anything. Just makes the paint rip right off. :iceslolan

Cool - I've left a car in there for a couple of weeks which I've forgotten about!! Nice to know it will still be there!!! :grinno:

I think it was Ray that figured out that too many trips to the brake fluid will make a model body brittle and cause it to break under any pressure. May have been someone else. I'd be careful if you're leaving them in there that long. And yes, I'm using DOT-3 Fluid and it's working just fine for me. Need some clean fluid though.
