Hi gang,

I have a 1994 Sierra with a 350, a 4L60E trans and a Gu6 axle. I have been fighting with terrible gas mileage for quite some time now. I was going to try changing the computer because trust me on this I have done just about everything else. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, egr, vacuum lines. Hundreds of dollars of no improvement. Anyways I was looking at the Motes BCC lookup list at what computer I should get for a replacement. I am currently running a BJLF and I noticed according to this list its for a truck with a Gu4 axle. I seen a few lines down on this list it should be running a BJLK. My first question is; is this list right? Second does this make a difference?

Thanks

Well I went and bought a BJLK computer and it seems to be running better than ever. The engine runs smooth, it seems to have more get up and go. The transmission shifts smooth and the annoying spark knock is gone. I think that at the factory they just installed the wrong computer.
