Here is a pic of my car from my accident in April. I am still waiting to get it back. The bill so far is over $9k. Thank God for insurance!!!
I am now waiting on my carbon fiber hood. The first one did not fit. The fact that it did not fit has nothing to do with my car being in an accident. I had a buddy w/a specV go w/me one day to fit his hood on my car (perfect) and the CF hood on his car (didn't fit correctly either). So, one more week driving the old Altima, and then I turn that thing in, and I am off in my new and improved SpecV!!
They put on an AEM cai while it was there, so It should be even more fun to drive!!!

That sucks that you got in the accident hope everything goes well. Glad to hear when you get it back it'll be improved :D

sorry to hear about the accident. I hit a deer on monday frown: it is nowhere as bad as your car though but i will need a new hood. i want a carbon fiber hood but only one i can find is from stillen. If you got one that has a vent in it i would love to know where you got it from.

DO NOT ORDER THE HOOD FROM STILLEN!!!
They sell the VIS racing hood. I got mine frome them, and it was all jacked up! They assured me that it was because I had been in an accident, but I had a buddy w/a spec go w/me and the hood didn't fit his car either. His hood fit my car just fine.
There is no scoop in that or the DG motorsports hood either.
I'll keep you posted on the hood, but they said to send it back, so it was, then they refused it (VIS that is). So, it was sent back again yesterday. I should have another one by Wed. If not, I'll be even more p.o'd than I am now!!!
Go to DG motorsports website, and also do a search, as there was 1 guy w/a hood that was vented. Not a scoop, but was cool!

I got my hood from Fiber Images and it fits great. If you want one from them you will have to call them because they don't list it on their website yet. Fiber Images (wwwfiberimages.com)

I think you are looking at about $400-500 I got mine for cheaper than that because I went through a friend that knows the owner so I got hooked up. Give them a call and see what they say. FiberImages.Com
