Thinking of buying my first BMW

Found a great deal on a 1997 540i. It will be my first BMW. Any gotchas or questions I should know about. Any comments welcome.

make sure its a 6 speed and put a dinan supercharger on it or esstuning supercharger system

Thanks for the comments. This will be BY FAR the fastest car that I've ever had. Not sure what I'd do with a supercharger :smile:

I am also interested in any issues that come up with 97-98 540i six speeds with 50,000+ miles.
