Eclipse Illumination

I just hooked up my cd player and hooked up the "illumanation part" Which is the Black Yellow striped wire , well when i hook that wire up to the illumation part on my cd player , the blinkers stay on...solid.. Any answers?

Sounds like you hooke the "illumination" wire up to the wrong wire in the car. Mabey try tapping the headligh switch for the 12v source to light up the display on the cd player.

odd thing is , the cd player still illuminates.. I can see everything perfectly. Im running a 7400mp Pioneer. It runs off that Organic 3d OEL display , so i believe theres no back light.
