Installing a new cd player/radio

Ok


I have the dash apart, and the old stereo has been takin out.

i have rewired the new wires that came with the new cd player with the old ones from the car. The speakers are hooked up correctly, but i am not getting any power to the cd player.

on the new connector i have a yellow, red and a black wires remaing.
yellow goes to the constant poewrsource, red goes to acc, and the black is the ground.

on the car wires i have a purple, grey, black, and an ornage left.

orange is supposedly the constant power.....but when i hook it up i dont get anything....


anyone have any suggestions?

ok well i hope this is of some help. I am not really sure about the others because i have a wiring harness for it the old wires. But at any rate.
The black is ground and it should be hooked to the black.
the Yello is the constant and should be hooked to orange. As far as the purple and grey wires go im not sure which one of those go to the red. try both of them and if that doesnt work. who knows lol.

what i did for now was wire it to an empty spot in the fuse box and make a switch for it. if any one knows or finds a source that turns on with the car let me know.

how the hell did you get the dash off!! the top right clip on that is a mother!! any advice?!
