Hi all,
I guess the title says it all on this one..is it the same as an R32 as in cut wire 55 or whatever?

Thanks

{sigh}....here we go again......;)

pull off the plastic sill protector(the one with SKYLINE written on it) from inside the door aperture...look under the passenger footwell, there is a black plastic nut holding the kick panel to the bulkhead...remove this aswell....you can now pull the kick panel safely away from the car.
....Hello ECU !!!!!!
.....3 nuts hold the ECU to the body...remove them and pull the unit GENTLY away...
.....find wire 53 and cut it......tape up the ends to prevent the possibility of contact....re-assemble all the bits of Skyline.....
.....BYE BYE Limiter........

YES it works
YES we've all done it
YES some people experience a little hesitation at about 140kph
YES it's completely safe (unless you drive like a twat)
YES it's totally FREE
NO you don't have to pay hundreds for a de-limiter
NO you won't kill your ECU
YES you can always reconnect a cut wire if you stuff it up
YES I will attach a picture....

(this applies to the R33...think R32 is pretty similar)

.....have fun dudes

Velocity: dunno ...never been lucky enough to have a R34.....would guess so though...nothing to stop you having a look at the ECU....see if it looks the same........

Well yeah there are. I had it electrically timed and hit the stupid limiter!!!
The road was like 5km long, so I could have got a good speed..

I think the R34 is wire 29 from the ecu, but not 100%... I have an ecu diagram which says 29 is the Vehicle Speed Sensor Signal, which is the equivalent to the R33 wire 53... But as i said, not 100% sure, i really want to find out as i have a 34 with the annoying speedcut

Don't dig up threads that are nearly 8 yrs old and post in them.
