Crash!! but fun

Well, it was a rainy sunday and i got out of work early. I went to my friend's house and decided to go "drifting". We found an isolated, curved, narrow, road. I was doing 30 when i saw a nice tight turn coming up, so I decided to slide through it. Man! I pulled the E-brakes and I got my car sideways, and started sliding. I thought I was doing well when my wheels lost grip and i slamed into the median.Ouch! I hit hard. I was laughing my ass off. I dunno why! But my friend was going ballistic. I thought it was fun as hell! My first crash! hehe. My car was messed up, my front tire was bent inward into the bottom of my car like in "Back To The Future". the rear wheell was also, but as much.
Now keep in mind i was in a crappy ass '88 cavalier front wheel drive, automatic transmission, stock. I didn't feel bad about messing up my car, it just means i can get an import. No, Im not one of those guys who like imports because of the movie Fast And The Furious. My best friend, Duy, introduced me to the import scene. He knows ALOT about it(the cars). I REALLY love racing and cant wait to get a decent import to soupe up and whoop some cocky ass rice boys!:silly2:

in order to drift don't u need a rear wheel drive car... its possible to do it with a fwd car in the rain and all but i don't think it's possible on dry pavement.... correct me if i'm wrong... but i don't think i am

you can drift on dry roads...its just a hell of a lot harder to control the car and a lot harder on the car. no but that civic is really shibby, that may be the first car i've ever seen that i think looks better with a design on it

Well your right it is harder to drift on dry pavement, especially in a FWD;) . I dont think i ever got it right,hehe. Also, it can be done in a front wheel drive car, but instead of using the throttle only, uneed both the throttle and the Emergency Brakes. The concept of drifting like that, I think, is pointless. I dont think it would help you in a race, because it slows you down. But like I said Its fun as hell!:D

drifting with a FWD is not the same, you get that wacky grip when you start loosing the drift, unlike RWD which is much smoother....
