Another McLaren F1

Finally I've decided to split out my thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=5828561#post5828561) about race version of McLaren F1 GTR, because I made a lot of works on the street version. Will continue here. I don't know yet if the Fujimi's kit will be finished, but I want to use it as a donor for my own model. I want to remind in several pictures what was made before.
At first a 3D model was created by my brother.

Next step is the instrument panel (IP) and door trims. To create new trims and to reshape the IP I cut the roof. Pay attention to the gap between the IP and the windscreen.

Ok Bernard. I remember also about your desire to have doors with mirrors on the window frame. I will make them after the dashboard and door trims will be done.

These milling and 3d-printed projects are so great. I have to focus on that they are a completely different arena from what I am building, otherwise I would put modeling aside permanently. :-)
