Does anyone have any info on installing Automatic door locks on my 91 honda civic....or any advice...

I'm wondering if its worth trying myself or if I should just let someone else do go through the trouble...

If I do it I'll be setting it up to my alarm.

Any info would help alot!

you have to pull the handle then lock it, i think all hondas are like that. i have an lx too and thats the way i lock it from inside.

I know that's the case for the manual door locks (having to hold the handle), but I'm surprised that it's the same for automatic locks... ?

Do the locks work if the door is closed but not when the door is open? does it lock the other 3 doors but not the open one?

If you can't use the lock when the door is open, you should just get an alarm system and throw in the relays for keyless entry...

and you went through all that trouble, and all you had to do was pull the handle. :icon16: . do worry i almost broke my locks trying to figure out how to lock them from the inside.
