hey everybody, this is my very fist post and im having trouble locating/deciding on a wheel/tire set for my model... but first a little background, im from Southern California and ive been building models since i was very young, but never got as serious and detailed as some of you !!! very cool stuff from what ive seen so far !!! great work !!!
the model that i am in the processing of building is a 1/24 TAMIYA Toyota SARD Supra GT.... i really dont like the wheels that it came with, some old school RAYS wheels, theyre awesome but just dont go well with my plans...
so far ive painted the body in Tamiya metallic black... i want BIG, DEEP wheels that will fill my wheelwells nicely, like some 19 inchers ? maybe ? or will 18 inches do just fine ? keep in mind i havent built a model in a good few years so im a little uninformed about the new products, the last time i bought a wheel/tire set was for my FD3S RX-7... the wheels were either AOSHIMA or FUJIMI 5 spokes with brembos...
please lead me in the right direction to find some nice wheels for my Supra !!! im also very inspired by all of your work so ive decided that ill attempt some custom body work with this one !!! thanks !
PS... heres a pic of my REAL car...
