They say you have one in a million(s) of a chance of winning the lottery, getting hit by lightning etc.

so i figured, surely there must be someone of AF who knows someone? im not sure how many active users there are, but lets say 500 visit this thread. Lets say each one of those people know about 100 people, so thats about 500,000 people.

so what im asking, have you, or anyone that you know, ever had something improbable happen to you/them?

keep it to 1 degree of seperation please, but if no one has any stories then feel free to proceed with crazy friend of a cousin stories.

by the way, my dad was hit by ball lightning.

One of my best friends was struck by lightning twice, on 2 separate occasions when he was younger...around 6 or so.

I knew a guy back in SA who had been, by the time he was 18, hit by 2 cars, 2 minibus taxis, a truck and a bike.

I won a cd on the radio the other night...what makes it improbable was I was talking a to a friend about how much I want the album, when the radiostation called my phone to tell me I won :D

I can see him for the 2 minibus taxis, the 2 cars and the bike, but not the truck.....

I have won a couple of compo's....weird....

Nearly got struck by lightning, the tree next to me took the hit though....
