THE 2.2L CAVALIER ! AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO FREAKIN HATES THESES THINGS WITH A PASSION? ITS LIKE EVERYONE WITH A 2.2 CAVY TRIES TO RACE ME ! WTF ARE THEY THINKIN? MY EX GIRLFRIEND'S EX (I STOLE HER FROM HIM) HAD A RICED OUT 2.2 4 DOOR CAVY WITH A CARBON FIBER WING, UNDERBODY NEON, SOME RIMS, SCREENS AND DECALS EVERYWHERE. HE CAME BY AND SHOWED IT TO ME ONE TIME AND I COULD HARDLY KEEP MYSELF FROM LAUGHING. THEN HE OPENED THE HOOD AND SHOWED ME THE ENGINE WITH THE CAI. HE TOLD ME IT GAVE HIM ABOUT 15 HP. ANYWAY I PULL UP TO A LIGHT ONE DAY AND AS FATE SHOULD HAVE IT GUESS WHO PULLS UP NEXT TO ME. I HAD MY CHICK IN THE CAR SO I ROLLED DOWN THE WINDOW AND SAID WUZUP. HE LOOKED OVER AND SMILED BUT I KNOW IT HAD TO HURT HIM TO SEE HIS EX IN THE CAR WITH ME. ANYWAY, BEING THE DUMB RICER THAT HE IS THE IDIOT REVS AT ME, SO IM LIKE, ITS ON. ON GREEN WE BOTH SQUEEZE IT AND WITHIN A MATTER OF SECONDS IVE GOT ABOUT 10-12 CARS ON HIM AND THIS WAS WHEN I WAS STOCK ! SO I SHUT DOWN AROUND 60 AND HE DOES HIS GAY RICER FLY BY. JUST HAD TO GET THAT OUT OF MY SYSTEM. IM NEW HERE SO I JUST WANNA SAYWUSUP TO EVERYBODY. SORRY IF THIS WAS REALLY LONG.

Hey welcome to the forums!

I would agree, what a waste of time. Opel makes the Ecotec engine and most of the people I have talked to from Europe say that Opel is one of the worst auto manufactures EVER!

LOL I know what you mean about the Cavaliers.....there's some Cavalier in town with race stripes painted on it with a big Chevy decal on the back.....it's the most retarded thing I have ever seen.

I hate hyundai. Simple as that.
No real goals except to outsell by any means without any original technology or even an effort to place a mark on the industry. Very poory engineered engine without any performance stock cars bette yet no RWD or AWD chasis except santa fe here in US. What's worse is the drivers who keeps on flaming honda just cause they bet civic. :screwy:

I'll debate you on the Hyundai thing. I'll agree with the analysis until 1996, when they started to try to put a mark on the industry and they got involved in racing (Motorola Cup at the time) with the Tiburons. After about 2 years, there was some trickle down to the street car, and the Tiburon became more reliable and better performing. In the late 90's, they got involved in the WRC with the Accent, and though it's not the fastest car, they have shown that they are worthy of fielding a WRC contender. I'll take the current Hyundai Tiburon over a lot of other cars currently on the market.

Tiburon GT is pretty quick
faster than a GSR integra, I would think since it has 10 more HP and a lot more torque

and its rated for 26 mpg on the freeway out of a 2.5L......compared to the 27 mpg acheived by a tank heavy 4.6L mustang GT....

in my book that shows crappy engineering.....

Well anything over 20 MPG is insanely good to me since I'm used to driving muscle cars that are carbed. 440 CID engine, and a lead foot get my a whopping 4 MPG.
