Here in Italy, in the Italian championship only the super 1600 cars and group N ones are allowed to race, NO WRC ones, that in the last yere monopolized the champ.
The strange thing is that in the champ. classify, the Fiat Punto super 1600 is first, this because the car goes faster than the subarus and lancers in the asphalt, which go fast only on dirt tracks because of the AWD.
Nice that a small car like the punto, the saxo or the 206(not the wrc one)
can easily beat a Japanese sport car........:bigthumb:

there are some very very talanted blokes in the Super 1600.
Like Renato Travaglia (ex Peugeot 206 WRC driver) and Aghini (same Travagia's car's pilot).:iceslolan

This is true, but technically, on the asphalt a super 1600s go faster because is alot less heavy than a Gr.N, and in the dirt Gr.Ns have more traction.
