ask people w/ custom paint jobs who did it, and how custom do you want to go??? my experience is some people who work in body shops do outside work, they do really good work cuz THEIR name is on the line, but they take fucking forever ( 5 months both times now ). body shops will have a good outcome, but cost you more because they can get ur car in and out. i would def find people and talk to more local people. if you wanna drive to ny, i know some people that are pretty nasty at custom paint jobs:icesangel

If you want something done right. You have to do it yourself.
Buy some nice tools, some nice paint, clear coat, and do some research. And if you fvck up...you have the rest of your car's life to paint it.
