passenger side mirror broke

Hey guys

So a friend of mine has a broken passenger side view mirror on her 2009 Mitsubishi Galant. I've tried tooling around myself and can't find an easy way to remove it, and I've looked online and only found one crappy diagram for removing the door panel.

I'm hoping there is an easier way to replace this then removing the entire damn door. Maybe you guys can come to the rescue.
