anyone hit a powerpole last night?

just checking that it was no one from round here. i was cruising round the Basin last night after work (about 12:15) and couldn't help but notice a silver skyline (gt25 ?) that had been driven nice and squarely into a powerpole. looks like the driver gave it too much gas on the right hander opposite the excercise shop and came out facing the inside pole.

poor bugger was just standing there looking confused, and i would say his cars a write off.
