the millage on a 1990 that is considered "average" would be about 130,000 miles, or 10,000 miles a year. But yeah they'll last a long time so it doesn't matter too much.

that's only really applicable if you're the first and only owner. you don't know what kind of an ass-whoopin' the previous owner laid on a used car.

good point. i drove mine hard as hell and a woman owned mine before, so im sure it went thru a lot worse but i had a 97 with 107k when i traded it in like 6 weeks ago for my truck. only thing wrong with it is i noticed when i was takin lowering components off was that the rear left brake piston was exposed cuz the lil rubber cover had torn. least now i kno y the pad was draggin all the time. im sure the dealer figured it out a few days after it traded it in too:biggrin:

I have a 98 Maxima with 140K miles and it still runs very well. All I need is a tune up and it'll be back to new.

Yea because I feel sorry for the person who buys my 95 max:cwm27:

No actually I take care of my baby... But I still have my high school car. A 94 beretta with 164,000 miles... Yea she's been used and abused like a cheap hoe. But after a rebuilt engine, 2 tranny fixies, 3 starters, 2 alternators, and 3 radiators. She's now my everyday driver for work.

I just sold my '91 with 255,000 miles. Never did anything to it that cost over a couple hundred bucks. (new axles and power steering pump).

I've got an 89 Maxima with 450,000 miles on it, have replaced the engine block once and rebuilt the Tranny twice(Auto). I do drive it very hard too. If you take care of it it will last forever!
