I used one from an 88 HF CRX on my 91 DX hatch, fit right on although only 2 bolt holes line up

Whatever you do, don't get an aftermarket one from TYC... they fit like ass and are angled differently than the OEM ones, looks pretty gay. Plus the construction is shitty, and the stock adjustment knobs don't fit on the aftermarket armature. I had to get one because someone busted mine off and I needed to get one quick for the May 10th meet, but as soon as I get an OEM one, it's getting painted and put on.

If one from a civic wagon will fit, I have one.

I have two passenger side mirrors for sale:
One for a CRX
One for a Civic; hatchback or four door
Whoever wants one, reply to this post or send me a private message with your email address so that I could send you a picture.
I'm in Phoenix, but I'm willing to ship as long as you cover the shipping cost.

DC

JDM/Aussie/Euro Civics all got them - either motorised or with a small manual controller - can wreckers in the US pick these up? I thought they would have come on standard

Im going to the junkyard tomorrow. I'll go grab the mirrors off of the wagon and see if they fit onto a hatchback or sedan.

From experience, I know of two types of mirrors that will fit '88-'91 Civics and CRX's. The one for the CRX and Civic Hatchbacks have a horizontal (flat) top corner. The one for the Civic Sedans have a triangular (pointed) corner. I think either one will fit the Civics and CRX's... but if you want it to match your original driver's side mirror, you'll have to get the appropriate one.
Also, another thing that differs from CRX's/Civic Hatchbacks and the Civic Sedans is the interior plastic trim that covers the mounting screws for the side mirrors. The one for the CRX & Civic Hatchbacks have a narrow tip on the bottom left corner. The one for the Civic Sedans have a wider tip on the bottom left corner.
I will post some pictures of the two different mirror types and the two different interior plastic trims.
Now that covers CRX's, Civic Hatchbacks & Sedans. As for the Civic Wagon, well I don't have any experience or info on them. Sorry.

Now as for differences in mirror types between '88-'89 and '90-'91... well I couldn't tell ya. I don't think there is... but if I'm wrong... someone please enlighten me.

the civic/CRX mirrors arent the same. they are close enough to fit however, using a CRX mirror on a hatch, the inside trim piece is too small but still fits.

The passenger rear view mirror I used on my 91 hatch was from a sedan. The only problem I had was with the interior trim part of it... I had to rig it to stay on good and firm.

i can say that if there is a difference between the 88-89 and 90-91 civic hatch passenger mirrors mine fit quite nicely from my 88 civic to my 90 civic, i can't really tell the difference. they line up very nicely.
