2013 Camry front bumper detachment

The front bumper keeps detaching from the clips on the side. Toyota has attempted to fix it 3 times with no success. The clips are not broken or cracked. Any suggestions or similar problems. The clips are the same on late 2012 Camry.

It may be that the clip locator holes are incorrectly placed, or the bumper is too small by a little. See if you can get Toyota to try a different bumper.

You can always get an opinion from a quality body shop.

Your car should still be under the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. Give your dealer another chance to correct the issue. If you are still not getting satisfaction give Toyota corporate a call at 1-800-331-4331 and open up a case with them.

After 4th try to fix the problem, my local dealer advised me to take car to Toyota body shop in Tampa for warranty work, which I did. Advisor there thought it was the bumper (also aggravated by improper fix attempts). He took photos and said he would have to get OK to replace bumper from district manager. Got a call from him this AM saying he had received the approval and would order the bumper today.

So will see how that goes and report back.
