does anyone know about how much power would be gained by adding aftermarket cams, pistons, gaskets, con rods, and pulleys on a N/A '93 240. also would upgraded fuel pump, injectors, and manifold help much on a N/A?

the first question leaves to much open (cam grind, compression, current mods) for good number
the fuel pump and injectors wouldnt hurt but but wouldent be to much good unless you planning to out run the stock system and manifold gains would be pretty low without a matching port job
Disclaimer: im new to 240s so dont go off any of this until someone with more experience either confirms it or makes me look like a dumbass.

Here pretty soon We'll be rebuilding, doing a pretty thorough N/A tune/port/match/ head project.
With a pretty mild Street/strip cam grind and stock bottom end we are looking for around 250hp.
I've run the cam numbers I want on my trusty Desktop Dyno and it came dead on my guess around 500 rpm before redline... perfect huh!
I've never had the head off of a 240, i am going to look into shaving the head a bit (if possible) to help increase compression. I dunno... i am also considering a direct port nitrous set-up that has been floating through my head... if we go that way, I'll get a big fat copper head gasket to lower compression and coat the pistons while i am at it.
Rest Assured I'll Dyno the car before, and after and post with pictures and details.

after the N/A tune, upgraded fuel system and direct port system i should be well over the 400bhp mark...
I want to see how far i can go with the stock bottom end..
So, if any of you are doing the SR SWAP into your S14, let me know, i can use your KA for my next engine.

Whats with the :loser: Are you calling me a loser????
It will probably cost ~$1000 for parts (Cams gears, valves, retainers, guides etc) but we'll be doing all the labor (4 angle, port matching, making the "holes" bigger etc.
I let you guys see a list of part when i place my order.
This will not be for awhile. I need to sell the RX-7 first. This isn't the WRX forum, or i'd tell you our plans for it too!
