That car is only good on very smooth and clean surfaces! and they're really hard to drive! Get an HPI or an ASSOCIATED TC3 touring car. those are pretty cool.

the TC3 costs around $150, I think its the best car around because it has a shaft drive which is more efficient and reliable than belt drive. and you don't have to spend $10 on belts every month.

Update me on what you'll do.

um man gas is fuel. don't bug him about technical terminology. now most of these people will tell you what they like.. lol. i have a megatech nitro razor.. it's awesome :)

buuut you're starting out. have you ever owned a r/c car before? if you haven't i REALLLY suggest getting a electric powered one. the time and energy and money a nitro car costs will be irritating. best you get used to the hobby before you dive into it. however if you INSIST on getting a nitro r/c car, you need to know what you're looking at, and not go based on opinions of people. take a look at the possible kits you can get.. HPI, Tamiya.. and such, and examine th eaftermarket parts factor. now most companies who make gas powered cars provide their own OEM 'aftermarket' parts, but there are companies who make aftermarket parts for these cars too. look at who would be the cheapest to upgrade and so on. examining all that i would really say Tamiya would be your best choice, my friend has a t-maxx and the parts so soo easy to get. tamiya is popular and has lots of parts. HPI is really great quality.. not sure on the aftermarket parts though. my megatech is a great fun car.. but the parts available.. ehh no one hardly hears of megatech. stick with the well known cars.. and research research !!!!!

there are also 2 sizes of 1/10th nitro cars. there are 190/200mm 1/10th rc cars (based on car body width) and there are 300mm car bodies. not sure if this makes a difference but not all 1/10th are the same size. :)
