Oh, are you in for some fun. First you have to take off anything around the shift knob that would be holding the center console down. Then on the sides next to the seats and around underneath the dash there are two screws that you have to take off. Then you have to undo at least one side of the dash under the steering wheel. There are a few screws that you have to undo to get to the cd player, but I don't remember exactly where they are, but you can see them. Then you have to unscrew the cd player from the housing and pull it out. I've only done this once in my friends 95 Eclipse GS, so if I'm wrong about a couple things, I'm sorry, but I think that's how you do it. Good luck.

Yeah remove the plastic around the player/air conditioner switches , and the plastic panel on the driver side of the console ( two screws) then you should be able to get to the head unit to remove the screws holding it in.

its an aftermarket cd player that was put in there , by any chance isnt there a way to pry those out knowing the fact theres no real way to mount them in there.

If it's an aftermarket, you might be able to remove the faceplate and use the bars that come with the install kit, and pull it out without having to remove anything. But if they didn't use the install kit, then you'll more than likely have to do what was said before.

it might be worth it to just hit up Tweeter and have em install it for like 30 bucks.

Have you tried to do it? If not, you might as well give it a try, it's not that hard. If you have tried, then go ahead and go to tweeters, cuz they'll do a good job and it'll be worth it.

No problem, I never thought you were an idiot. At least you have the smarts to ask. To tell you the truth, if Tweeters will do it for $30 then go for it. That is a good deal.
