I have an 02 civic ex and I want to lower it, what kind of brand of coilovers should I get? If I lower it 1.5 inches, should I get a camber kit?

You will need a camber kit if you plan on adjusting the suspension below 2". Also every time you raise/lower you will need an alignment. H&R, Skunk, Tein, etc. just stick with a full kit & dont try to save money when buying coil-overs.

i disagree
it really depends on how much money you are willing to spend.. you can get some ground controls w/ koni shocks for a good price on ebay or just shop around..
if you do get a kit, and want to spend $800 on suspension (which I personally would because i think it is worth it) on TEIN SS's.. but i believe in saving money in all areas of my hobbies.. especially cars, due to the fact it is my most expensive hobby

on the top right of AF there is a box which says " Quick Search " there type in Coilovers and find some posts with some explanations.. this is the best way to find out about any topic really.. unless you have searched the web and the forum... then we can grant you mercy  least do that in the future.. pls
the difference is, coilovers are just a set of springs that go over your shocks... a kit consists of the coilover and the shocks, meaning the company made the pair for eachother.. which is better but also more expensive, and usually aren't needed for daily driving - more towards someone who races their car on a track during the weekend for example..
