i have an fd with 4600 miles on it (on a 2002 j-spec engine and turbos). before i bought this engine, the original one was at 85,000 miles and needed a rebuild. now it is in great condition, but at a cost. i still think it was worth it though. the feel of that power and handling is just too good to pass up for me.
