I was wondering if anybody has a diagram for dealing with coilovers. I don't know much about them and I'm probably going to be taking mine apart soon. Any kind of how tos on how to work on them or anything would be great! Thanks..

The rubber on the driver's side coilover has slipped out of place, and I guess I need to put it back in. I would also like to see how they work.

I guess. Somebody earlier said they were the "cheap ones", I suppose those are the sleeve type?

pretty simple...

the spring sits on a perch...which is threaded onto a sleeve... the sleeve sits on the seat on the strut...the strut goes up through the center...

yea the sleeve ones are the cheap ones dont know much about coilovers, but im guessing to lower you car, its like thightning the springs, so they get more compact, thus the drop of the car, and the sometimes ruff ride.
